Temple dispatches St. Bonaventure

Jan 13, 2011 - 12:58 PM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Ramone Moore had 19 points and five rebounds as No. 19 Temple dominated St. Bonaventure, 83-55, in Atlantic 10 action.

Scootie Randall scored 17 points, Khalif Wyatt and Lavoy Allen each notched 15 while Michael Eric added 10 for the Owls (12-3, 3-0 A-10), who have won three straight after dropping a decision to city rival Villanova on December 30.

Andrew Nicholson scored 12 points and Ogo Adegboye and Demetrius Conger each contributed 11 points for the Bonnies (9-6, 1-1), who had won their previous two coming into the contest.

Temple never trailed in this game as Eric scored the first four points and Wyatt followed with a jumper.

The Bonnies tied the game briefly when Adegboye buried a three-ball to make it a 17-all game with 11 1/2 minutes left in the first half.

The Owls, though, answered with a 9-2 run and later got 10 straight points to help the team take a 49-28 advantage into the break.

An 11-3 burst early in the second half pushed Temple's advantage to 65-38 and the team led by as many as 31 points in the second half for the easy finish.

Game Notes

The Owls play at Duquesne on Saturday...St. Bonaventure plays in Rhode Island on Sunday...Temple has a commanding 52-6 advantage in the all-time series...The Owls shot 50.8 percent while St. Bonaventure made 35.8 percent of its shots.
