Hokies leading scorer Smith to transfer
Mar 26, 2015 - 9:28 PM Blacksburg, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Virginia Tech guard Adam Smith, the team's leading scorer this past season, will transfer to another school for his fifth year of eligibility.The redshirt junior will transfer after earning his degree in May, the school announced Thursday.
Smith averaged 13.4 points in 33 games for the Hokies (11-22) this past season. He started his college career at UNC-Wilmington in 2011-12 and played for Virginia Tech the past two seasons after sitting out a year.
