Northwestern rewards Collins with extension
May 26, 2015 - 7:39 PM Evanston, IL (Sports Network) - Northwestern rewarded head men's basketball coach Chris Collins with a contract extension on Tuesday.Collins is 29-36 in two seasons with the Wildcats.
This past season, Northwestern was 15-17 and went 6-12 for a second straight year in the Big Ten, including a string of four straight conference wins late in the season.
Northwestern added another strong recruiting class this offseason, signing forwards Derek Pardon and Aaron Falzon and guard Jordan Ash to scholarships.
