Pitts transferring from Arizona
May 18, 2016 - 3:23 AM TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) Guard Elliott Pitts is transferring from Arizona after sitting out most of his junior season.Wildcats coach Sean Miller issued a statement on Tuesday to announce Pitts is leaving.
Pitts was expected to play a key role for the Wildcats last season, but appeared in just seven games due to unspecified reasons. The 6-foot-5 Pitts played in all 38 games as a sophomore, averaging 3.5 points while being one of Arizona's best perimeter defenders.
Pitts will have one year of eligibility remaining.
