LSU's coach: Oregon's Bigby-Williams transferring to Tigers
Aug 19, 2017 - 9:42 PM BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU basketball coach Will Wade says 6-foot-11 Oregon forward Kavell Bigby-Williams is transferring to LSU this fall. The former national junior college player of the year will redshirt one year before becoming eligible to compete with the Tigers in 2018-19. In primarily a reserve role, the England native helped the Oregon Ducks advance to the 2017 Final Four. Bigby-Williams played in 37 games with Oregon, averaging 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds. He also blocked 28 shots.
