Georgia Tech facing more NCAA woes, Moore to miss 2 games
Nov 22, 2017 - 9:36 PM ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Tech, which already has two players suspended for NCAA rules violations, has announced sophomore guard Justin Moore also will miss two games for an undisclosed rules violation. Also, assistant coach Darryl LaBarrie has been placed on paid administrative leave while Georgia Tech investigates an alleged violation of NCAA rules. The moves with LaBarrie and Moore were announced Wednesday by athletic director Todd Stansbury and coach Josh Pastner. Georgia Tech's Josh Okogie is serving a six-game suspension, while teammate Tadric Jackson was to serve the final game of his three-game suspension in Wednesday night's game against Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Each accepted benefits not allowed by NCAA rules. Moore, averaging 1.5 points as a backup, will be eligible to return on Tuesday against Northwestern. ___ More AP college basketball: http://collegebasketball.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP_Top25No one has shouted yet.
