Hawaii coach Ganot signs contract extension
Nov 23, 2017 - 3:50 PM Hawaii coach Eran Ganot signed a one-year contract extension through the 2020-21 season, the school announced.Ganot owns a 45-22 record during his three seasons at Hawaii. He guided the team to both the Big West regular season and tournament titles as well as an NCAA Tournament win.
The Rainbow Warriors have won all three of their games in 2017-18 heading into Friday's game against Nevada.
"We're very fortunate to have a head coach of Eran's caliber," Hawaii athletic director David Matlin said. "He's done a phenomenal job of stabilizing the men's basketball program and setting a foundation for sustained, long-term success.
"With great strides having been made both academically and competitively, he's put together a team of coaches and student-athletes that Hawaii can be proud of. We look forward to Eran leading our Rainbow Warriors for years to come."
