A couple of cool graphs made their rounds on Twitter on Wednesday, and when Jon Rothstein says Villanova is a Fortune 500 company, he might actually not be far off. According to these graphs, the ‘Cats are providing a lot of return on investment.

You may need to click on the graphic on the tweet to see the two full graphs, the top one showing cost-per-win over the last five years — the notable takeaway is to pour one out for Georgetown, who’s dropped a whopping $1.1 million per win over the last five years, and is well below the rest of the pack — and the bottom graph is looks at NCAA Tournament wins compared to program expenses from 2013-22, and the ‘Cats are performing very highly on that front. It’s also interesting to see who’s in similar company, and which ones are performing below expectations.
