Princeton vs. Arizona: NCAA Tournament Same Game Parlay Picks (3/16)

Mar 16, 2023 - 9:33 AM

Arizona solidified its dominance in the PAC-12 by claiming the tournament championship with an exciting win over UCLA. They come in as the No. 2 seed in the South region that features the overall No.1 seed Alabama. They kick off the Round of 64 against the Ivy League Champions Princeton.

Princeton vs. Arizona

Arizona -13.5 (-120)

The Wildcats are of the best offensive teams in the country. They near the top of the leaderboard in a few categories, including top ten finishes in scoring, field-goal percentage, effective field goal percentage, and top 20 and three-point percentage. They have a massive size advantage inside the paint. That will shrink the Tigers’ game to perimeter shooting, and they have some excellent shooters, but it won’t be enough to keep it close.

Game Total Over 153.5 (-115)

Princeton does have some reliable offensive talent. Tosan Evbuomwan shoots 52.7% from the floor, and Matt Allocco shoots 48.3 and 40% from three. They must rely on their perimeter shooting because I don’t see them getting inside Oumar Ballo and Azuolas Tubelis.

Both teams come with players that are very efficient scorers, and we’re going to see some stellar shooting. Neither defense is an impression, especially Arizona, who was eighth in the PAC-12 in scoring defense.

Both will get a lot of opportunities to score because both sit near the bottom in turnovers forced. Arizona’s run-and-gun style will make it tough for Princeton to slow down their pace of plays. We’ll see enough possessions to help get the over.

Azuolas Tubelis Over 19.5 Points (-120)

As mentioned, the Wildcats’ size advantage will significantly affect their performance on Thursday. Tubelis is coming into this game averaging 19.8 points and has gone over this prop in three of his last five. The 6’11” Lithuanian with have the significant height advantge against Princeton forwards Caden Pierce  (6’6″) and Tosan Evbuomwan (6’8″)
