(4) Tennessee vs. (13) Louisiana

Leg 1 – Louisiana +10.5 (-102)

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are played better offense throughout the year analytically. Louisiana has shot 36.6% from downtown and 52.2% from inside the arc.

The Volunteers have done very well defensively, but I’m not sure their offense can keep up. Tennessee has shot just 32.9% from downtown and 50.9% from inside the arc. The Vols score many points off second chances, but Louisiana has held teams to 26.4% offensive rebounds this season.

Louisiana is getting more than 10 points. I’m taking them.

Leg 2 – Under 136.5 (-110)

Tennessee is one of the best defenses in the nation. Louisiana won’t have it easy throughout the game. The Vols have held teams to 26.2% from deep and 44.6% from inside the arc. But all the talk about Tennessee’s three-point defense isn’t that relevant, with Louisiana taking most shots from inside the arc.

It’ll still be tough to score.

Meanwhile, Louisiana, again, has done well on the defensive glass. Teams have also been held to 49.2% from inside the arc. The Ragin’ Cajuns have struggled to defend the three a bit, but Tennessee isn’t very consistent from downtown anyway.

Leg 3 – Olivier Nkamhoua Under 10.5 Points (-104)

Nkamhoua has stepped up recently, adding 20 points over his last two games. But that’s still not a good enough average to get over 10.5 points.

In a low-scoring game, with Nkamhoua only adding ten or more points in seven of his last 18 games, it’s a good bet that he’ll go under his total, especially while taking a meager amount of threes per game.

He’s kind of doing the little things for Tennessee now. He grabbed ten rebounds against Missouri in 25 minutes and has had at least seven rebounds in three of his last five games. Hopefully, he focuses on those numbers more than his point total tonight.
