March Madness First Round Same Game Parlay Bets

Arizona State vs. TCU

Leg 1 – Mike Miles Jr. – Over 15.5 Points (-150)

With Mike Miles Jr. back in the lineup, TCU’s offense will follow his lead, and the Horned Frogs are a threat not just in this game but into the Sweet 16. Following Miles’ injury against Mississippi State, the Horned Frogs dropped four of their following five contests.

When he eventually came back, TCU won three of its following four games and proceeded to defeat Kansas State in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament. At 17.3 points per game, Miles leads the Frogs and offers TCU a boost they might otherwise lack.

Leg 2 – Desmond Cambdridge Jr. – Under 15.5 (-115)

Desmond Cambridge Jr., the top player for Arizona State, scored 17 points in a rout of Nevada in the First Four game. At 13.8 points per game, Cambridge leads the Sun Devils. He also averages 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 39.6% from the field. If TCU wants to win this game, it must prevent Cambridge from establishing himself right away.

In my opinion one of the more underrated coaches in the country, I expect TCU head coach Jamie Dixon to do just that as they shut down Cambridge Jr. early and often.

Leg 3 – Arizona State (+170)

Arizona State entered Dayton and eliminated Nevada in a route of a performance. The Sun Devils brilliantly executed early on, it hit every shot from the outside, appeared to get every early rebound, and the momentum put the game on autopilot. The Devils are an athletic team that has its moments when everything clicks when they’re on the move – and they’re better sprinting around the court than setting up the simple plays.

And if the threes are falling, this team can make some real noise. When they make ten or more threes, the Sun Devils are 8-0, and when they hit nine or more, they are 10-2.

While TCU is the better team 7 out of 10 times, the level of effort I saw from this ASU team on Wednesday makes me optimistic they can compete in this one and challenge for the lead late.
