No. 7 Texas A&M cruises past OSU
Jan 13, 2011 - 3:42 AM Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Maryann Baker notched a game-high 21 points and Tyra White scored 20 as No. 7 Texas A&M cruised to an 82-57 victory over Oklahoma State.White also had 13 rebounds to round out her double-double for the Aggies (14-1, 2-0 Big 12), while Danielle Adams chipped in 14 points and eight boards. Adaora Elonu tallied 10 points for the victors.
Toni Young had 16 points and 12 boards for the Cowboys (12-3, 0-2) and Lakyn Garrison turned in 11 points.
The Aggies held a 44-31 lead at the half that ballooned as high as 28 points with 2 1/2 minutes left in the game.
Oklahoma State struggled in the second half by shooting just 23.3 percent from the field, while Texas A&M used a 46.2-percent shooting performance in the game to cruise to the win.
