No. 5 Texas A&M gets by Oklahoma State

Feb 20, 2011 - 2:30 AM College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Danielle Adams posted a game-high 24 points while grabbing seven rebounds, as No. 5 Texas A&M downed Oklahoma State, 76-67.

Sydney Carter posted 19 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Aggies (22-3, 10-2 Big 12), who bounced back from a 67-58 loss to No. 1 Baylor on Monday. Tyra White added 13 points and six rebounds.

Toni Young had 23 points and 17 boards to pace Oklahoma State (15-10, 3-9), which has dropped two in a row. Tiffany Bias added 20 points and five assists in the loss.

Texas A&M held its biggest lead, 16, midway through the first half and took a 36-29 advantage into halftime.

The Cowgirls did lead briefly in the second half, including when Bias' three- pointer made it a 54-53 game with 6:30 left. But the Aggies followed with a 12-0 run and held on from there.
