Plumley scored 22 as No. 11 Oklahoma tops Texas Tech

Feb 18, 2007 - 1:36 AM LUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- Jenna Plumley scored a career-high 22 points and Courtney Paris added 18 with 16 rebounds as No. 11 Oklahoma posted a 70-67 victory over Texas Tech in a Big 12 Conference game.

The Sooners (20-4, 10-3 Big 12) have taken 12 of 14 road games this season and won their 20th game for the sixth time in 11 campaigns under coach Sherri Coale.

Plumley made 7-of-9 shots, including six 3-pointers, and Paris registered her 52nd consecutive double-double for Oklahoma, which led at the break, 36-29.

Chelsi added 10 points as the Sooners shot just 38 percent (23-of-60) from the floor and recorded a 48-35 rebounding advantage.

Alesha Robertson and Patrice Edwards scored 16 points apiece for the Red Raiders (15-12, 6-7), who have lost four of their last five.
