DeHann, Michigan State women shoot past Minnesota

Mar 2, 2007 - 11:25 PM INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Allyssa DeHann totaled 27 points, eight rebounds and six blocks as No. 23 Michigan State defeated Minnesota, 77-68, in the Big Ten Conference tournament quarterfinals.

Aisha Jefferson and Rene Haynes each scored 15 points for Michigan State (23-7), which will play Purdue in its fourth straight conference semifinals appearance.

DeHann made 12-of-14 shots for the Spartans, who held a 48-32 advantage in points in the paint and shot 54 percent (30-of-56) overall.

Emily Fox scored 21 points and Kelly Roysland added 18 for Minnesota (16-15), which shot 37 percent (25-of-68) and committed 23 turnovers.
