Mar 18, 2007 - 7:29 PM HARTFORD, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Armintie Price led a balanced offense and Mississippi's defense wasn't bad either.

Price scored 21 points and the seventh-seeded Rebels forced 23 turnovers in an 88-74 victory over No. 10 TCU in a NCAA Tournament first-round matchup in the Dayton Region.

A senior guard, Price was 7-of-11 from both the field and the line to lead five Rebels in double figures.

Alliesha Easely scored 14 points, Ashley Awkward had 12, Danetra Forrest 11 and Shawn Goff 10 off the bench for Ole Miss (22-10), which will meet either No. 2 Maryland or 15th-seeded Harvard on Tuesday.

The Rebels scored 39 points off turnovers and came up with 12 steals. They led 40-32 at the break and by as many as 21 midway through the second half.

Ashley Davis scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds and Hanna Biernacka scored 20 points for the Horned Frogs (21-11), who shot 7-of-10 from the arc in the second half but could not overcome the turnovers.
