Zavecz, Sisk lead Wyoming over TCU
Jan 20, 2007 - 11:28 PM LARAMIE, Wyoming (Ticker) -- Hanna Zavecz scored 20 points and Dominique Sisk added 18 as Wyoming pulled off a 66-51 victory over 23rd-ranked TCU in a Mountain West matchup.Aubrey Vandiver added 10 points off the bench for the Cowgirls, who held the Lady Frogs to 32 percent (19-of-60) shooting.
Despite missing all eight 3-point attempts, Wyoming (12-5, 3-2 MWC) held a 28-26 edge at the half. After intermission, the Lady Cowgirls hit four 3-pointers and 18-of-20 free throws to pull away.
Zavecz connected on 6-of-15 shots and added nine rebounds, three blocks and three steals. Sisk hit 6-of-8 from the floor, including both 3-point attempts.
Ashley Davis had 13 points and Adrianne Ross added 11 for TCU (13-6, 3-2), which committed just six turnovers.
