Oklahoma rallies to defeat Colorado

Jan 21, 2007 - 6:45 AM BOULDER, Colorado (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris registered her 44th consecutive double-double to keep Oklahoma unbeaten in the Big 12 Conference.

Paris scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the sixth-ranked Sooners to an 82-67 victory over Colorado.

Oklahoma (15-1, 5-0 Big 12) won its sixth straight game but had to overcome a 29-point performance from Jasmina Ilic.

Ilic hit a pair of 3-pointers to spur a 14-0 run that put the Buffaloes (8-9, 2-3) ahead, 48-44, with 13:11 to play.

Ashley Paris - Courtney's twin sister - then scored seven points in an 11-1 spurt that reclaimed the lead for the Sooners, 57-51, with 8 1/2 minutes left and they steadily pulled away.

Ashley Paris finished with 12 points and eight rebounds for Oklahoma, which shot 49 percent (28-of-57).

Jackie McFarland had 17 points and 14 rebounds for Colorado.
