Wiggins, Cardinal too much for Washington
Feb 11, 2007 - 4:08 AM PALO ALTO, California (Ticker) -- Candice Wiggins scored 23 points and Brooke Smith had 12 and 12 rebounds as 11th-ranked Stanford pounded Pac-10 Conference rival Washington, 80-54.The Cardinal (21-4, 13-1 Pac-10) shot 50 percent (34-of-68), limited the Huskies to 31 percent (20-of-64) and held a 48-32 edge on the backboards.
Wiggins hit 9-of-17 shots, including 4-of-8 3-pointers, and Jillian Harmon had eight points and 10 rebounds.
Emily Florence had 11 points and four assists for Washington (15-11, 8-7).
