Haring helps Oregon rout No. 22 California
Feb 16, 2007 - 6:54 AM EUGENE, Oregon (Ticker) -- Eleanor Haring scored 17 points and Taylor Lilley added 10 off the bench for Oregon en route to a 62-42 triumph over 22nd-ranked California in a Pac-10 Conference matchup.The Ducks led by just three points at halftime before pulling away in the second half, shooting 60 percent (14-of-23) from the floor to win their first game over a ranked foe since March 19, 2005.
Oregon (15-10, 7-8 Pac-10) outscored California, 39-22, after intermission.
The Ducks shot 47 percent (23-of-48) overall, scored 25 points off 19 turnovers and held a 28-18 advantage in points in the paint.
Devanei Hampton collected 27 points and 13 rebounds for the Golden Bears (19-7, 9-6), who only received seven points from their reserves, compared to 26 for the Ducks.
