Tennessee rolls past South Carolina in SEC tournament
Mar 2, 2007 - 9:20 PM DULUTH, Georgia (Ticker) -- Sidney Spencer scored 22 points as No. 2 Tennessee dominated South Carolina, 81-63, in a Southeastern Conference tournament matchup.Alexis Hornbuckle had 17 points and seven assists and Candace Parker added 10 and 11 rebounds for Tennessee (28-2) which has won 34 consecutive games against South Carolina since 1980.
Spencer made 8-of-15 shots and added four steals. The Lady Vols shot 41 percent (28-of-68), including 7-of-19 3-pointers.
Lakesha Tolliver scored 13 points off the bench and Melanie Johnson added 11 for South Carolina (17-14) who shot 41 percent (25-of-61).
