Adair, George Washington move on in A-10 Tournament
Mar 3, 2007 - 8:44 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair scored 14 points to lead No. 9 George Washington to a 61-45 victory over Dayton in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament.The Colonials (26-2) improved to 22-0 all-time against Dayton and will face either Saint Joseph's or Charlotte in the semifinals on Sunday.
Kenan Cole added 10 points for George Washington, which forced 24 turnovers and blocked 15 shots.
Brittany Holterman scored 10 points for Dayton (12-19), which shot 30 percent (15-of-50) from the field.
