Aggies topple Sooners in ranked conference clash
Feb 10, 2011 - 4:24 AM College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Danielle Adams led the way with 30 points and 13 rebounds, as sixth-ranked Texas A&M defeated No. 14 Oklahoma, 92-71, in a Big 12 battle of ranked teams at Reed Arena.Adaora Elonu posted 15 points and 10 rebounds while Sydney Carter added 17 points for the Aggies (20-2, 8-1 Big 12), who have won two straight since their second loss of the season, a 63-60 setback against Baylor.
Danielle Robinson netted 24 points for Oklahoma (17-6, 7-3), which has now dropped three of its last five contests since a five-game win streak in mid- January. Aaryn Ellenberg added 16 points in the loss.
