No. 9 UCLA rolls past Cal

Feb 19, 2011 - 5:18 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Rebekah Gardner came off the bench to score a game-high 16 points, as No. 9 UCLA downed California, 63-48.

Darxia Morris notched 10 points for the Bruins (22-2, 12-1 Pac 10), who have won seven straight. They will host third-ranked Stanford on Sunday.

Eliza Pierre had 12 points for Cal (14-11, 6-8), which has dropped four in a row. Lindsay Sherbert and Talia Caldwell both had 10 points in the loss.

UCLA held a 29-21 lead at the half and expanded its advantage to a game-high 21 with 8:47 left in the game. UCLA shot 42.4 percent from the field, while Cal struggled, making just 31.4 percent of its shots.
