Tennessee rolls past Florida into SEC semis
Mar 5, 2011 - 6:11 AM Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Glory Johnson posted a career-best 25 points with 11 rebounds as Tennessee rolled past Florida, 92-75, in quarterfinal action at the SEC Tournament.Shekinna Stricklen added 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting for the Lady Vols (29-2), who advance to the semifinals to face Georgia.
Lanita Bartley poured in 14 points for the Gators (18-14), who got 13 points apiece from Ndidi Madu and Deana Allen in defeat.
Tennessee led 38-36 at the break, but rose to the occasion by connecting on 18-of-26 field goals while holding Florida to 40-percent shooting in the second half.
