Griner's double-double helps Baylor stay perfect
Jan 15, 2012 - 10:12 PM Austin, TX (Sports Network) - Brittney Griner had 32 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks, as the top-ranked Baylor Lady Bears remained perfect with a 77-59 victory over the Texas Longhorns.Destiny Williams added 21 points and 14 boards for the Lady Bears (17-0, 4-0 Big 12), who are off to a 17-0 start for the first time in school history.
Baylor is also off to its fourth 4-0 conference start in the Big 12 era.
Chassidy Fussell ended with 20 points and five rebounds for the Longhorns (11-5, 1-3), who have lost three of four. Ashley Gayle tallied 12 points and seven boards.
