Tennessee uses big second half to beat Georgia
Jan 30, 2012 - 12:35 AM Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Shekinna Stricklen had 24 points, seven rebounds and two steals, as the seventh-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols used a big second half to beat the 17th-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs, 67-50.Ariel Massengale added 16 points for the Lady Vols (16-5, 7-1 SEC), who have won two in a row since a loss at Notre Dame on January 23.
Meredith Mitchell ended with 13 points, eight boards and four steals for the Lady Bulldogs (16-6, 5-4), who have dropped three of four.
Tennessee outscored Georgia by a 38-22 margin in the second half.
