No. 10 Georgia cruises past Missouri
Jan 4, 2013 - 2:13 AM Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Jasmine James had 16 points and six steals to lead 10th-ranked Georgia to a 77-46 win over Missouri on Thursday.Khaalidah Miller and Marjorie Butler scored 11 points apiece and Tiaria Griffin added nine for the Lady Bulldogs (13-1, 1-0 SEC), who improved to 9-0 at home this season.
Bri Kulas had 14 points and seven rebounds, and Morgan Eye chipped in with 13 points for the Tigers (11-4, 0-1), who have dropped their last two games.
Georgia smothered Missouri defensively, holding the Tigers to just 32.7 percent (17-for-52) shooting, while also forcing 21 turnovers.
