No. 7 Baylor cruises past 12th-ranked Oklahoma State

Feb 9, 2014 - 11:31 PM Waco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Odyssey Sims poured in 33 points to lead No. 7 Baylor to an 81-64 win over No. 12 Oklahoma State on Sunday.

Nina Davis scored 15 points with nine rebounds and Makenzie Robertson added 11 points for the Lady Bears (20-3, 10-1 Big 12), who have won six straight.

Baylor has now reached the 20-win mark in 14 consecutive seasons.

Liz Donohoe paced the Cowgirls (19-4, 8-4) with 22 points, while Tiffany Bias and Kendra Suttles chipped in 11 apiece. Oklahoma State has alternated wins and losses over the past six games.

In a tightly contested first half, Bias followed a Suttles layup with a 3- pointer to cut the Oklahoma State deficit to 36-32.

Sims answered with four straight points and Davis closed the half with a layup to stake the Lady Bears to a 42-32 lead at the break.

The duo of Sims and Davis concluded an 11-0 run that ended the first half and went into the second as Davis made a three-point play to push the lead to 15.

Baylor then blew the game open with a 13-0 run late in the second half that Khadijah Cave capped with a layup for a 72-47 advantage.
