Rouse leads Fresno State past San Jose State 33-18

Oct 24, 2010 - 3:46 AM SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Robbie Rouse rushed for 116 yards and scored two touchdowns and receiver Isaiah Burse threw for a touchdown as Fresno State defeated San Jose State 33-18 Saturday night.

Kevin Goessling kicked a career-high four field goals as the Bulldogs (5-2, 3-1 Western Athletic Conference) beat San Jose State for the 16th time in their last 17 meetings.

Jordan La Secla threw for 292 yards and touchdown passes of 46 and 63 yards for the Spartans (1-7, 0-3), who lost their fifth straight.

Rouse had a career-high 150 rushing yards in last week's victory over New Mexico State.
