Oct 10, 2006 - 10:41 PM No. 20 Boise St (6-0) at New Mexico St (2-3), 8:00 pm EDT

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (Ticker) - No. 20 Boise State takes its undefeated show on the road against Western Athletic Conference rival New Mexico State in a rare Sunday night matchup.

One of nine remaining Division I-A teams without a loss, Boise State (6-0, 2-0 WAC) is coming off a 55-14 rout of Louisiana Tech.

Jared Zabransky completed 11-of-18 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for two scores for the Broncos, who lead the conference in both scoring offense (39.3 points per game) and scoring defense (12.5).

Ian Johnson rushed for 92 yards on 14 carries and a TD to lead an attack that gained 265 yards on the ground. The sophomore ranks sixth in the country in rushing at 134.3 yards per game.

The Broncos are 6-0 all-time against the Aggies, including a 56-6 pasting last year in Boise in which they gained 524 yards. The last time Boise State came to Las Cruces, in 2000, it escaped with a 34-31 Big West Conference victory.

New Mexico State (2-3, 0-1), which has lost back-to-back games, is coming off a 28-20 setback to Idaho.

The national leader in total passing yards (2,053), passing yards per game (410.6) and total offense (395.8), sophomore Chase Holbrook threw three touchdown passes to give him 16 on the season but was "held" to 342 passing yards, a season low.
