Corless joined the Eagles' staff in January 2012, but his pairing with Curtis isn't new.
"Jack and K.C. have worked together successfully in this role for several seasons at Northwestern State and Arkansas State," Monken said. "Over the past year, it has become apparent that this is a partnership that will benefit our team as well."
The 2013 season will be the final one in the Southern Conference and on the FCS level for Georgia Southern, which will join the Sun Belt Conference and the FBS next year.
