Campbell-Davidson date changed again
Jul 25, 2013 - 3:00 PM Davidson, NC (Sports Network) - The date for the Pioneer Football League game between Campbell and Davidson has been changed for the second time this month.Davidson announced Thursday that the home game will be played on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at Richardson Stadium. The date was changed from Nov. 15 to accommodate an additional game opportunity for Campbell at Old Dominion on Nov. 16.
Previously, the Campbell-Davidson was moved up one day to Nov. 15 to avoid a potential conflict for fans interested in attending the Wildcats' men's basketball game at Virginia on Nov. 16.
Davidson finished 2-9 overall and 2-6 in the PFL last season, while Campbell was 1-10 and 0-8. Both teams have new head coaches, Campbell's Mike Minter and Davidson's Paul Nichols.
