Davidson to play 12 games for the first time
Feb 27, 2014 - 7:02 PM Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Davidson University football will play a 12- game regular season for the first time in program history this year.Coach Paul Nichols' squad, which finished 0-11 in his first season last year, will play six home games and six road games.
The Wildcats will open the season at home against a pair of sub-Division I opponents, College of Faith-Charlotte on Aug. 30 and Catawba on Sept. 6.
Their other four home games are within the Pioneer Football League against Morehead State (Sept. 20), Dayton (Oct. 4), Stetson (Oct. 25) and Jacksonville (Nov. 8).
