Jacksonville-Marist game gets new site

Jul 15, 2014 - 5:59 PM Poughkeepsie, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pioneer Football League game between Jacksonville and Marist on Nov. 1 has been moved from Jacksonville to Marist.

The move is the result of a scheduling conflict in the Jacksonville area. It will not have an effect on the 2015 game between two programs scheduled to be played at Marist.

The change means Marist will host a school-record seven games this season.

Marist earned a share of the 2013 PFL title last season, finishing with 8-3 overall and 7-1 conference records. Jacksonville was 5-6 and 4-4.
