Butler seeks turnaround in 2015
Feb 25, 2015 - 2:38 PM Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Butler will kick off the 2015 season at Indiana State and play five home games as part of an 11-game football schedule.The Bulldogs finished 4-7 last season, one year after reaching the FCS playoffs as the Pioneer Football League co-champion.
They will open the season on Sept. 5 by making the short trip to Terre Haute to face an Indiana State squad that qualified for the national playoffs last season.
Coach Jeff Voris' squad will play its home opener at the Butler Bowl on Sept. 12 against Franklin. Within the PFL, the Bulldogs will host Campbell (Sept. 26, Homecoming), Davidson (Oct. 17), Valparaiso (Nov. 7) and Drake (Nov. 14).
