Davidson seeks turnaround in 2015
Mar 16, 2015 - 5:47 PM Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Davidson is hoping the third season is the charm under coach Paul Nichols.The Wildcats are 1-22 overall and 0-16 in Pioneer Football League games through Nichols' first two seasons.
But the Wildcats have some winnable games, playing six times at home, in an 11- game 2015 schedule announced on Monday.
Davidson will host sub-Division I programs Catawba (Sept. 12) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 10) as well as PFL members Valparaiso (Oct. 3), Marist (Oct. 24), Campbell (Oct. 31) and San Diego (Nov. 14), the defending champion.
The Wildcats will open their season with a visit to The Citadel on Sept. 5.
