NORTH DAKOTA STATE 27, MINNESOTA 21 -----------------------------------

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Tyler Roehl rushed for a school-record 263 yards and a touchdown as North Dakota State posted a 27-21 victory over Minnesota on Saturday.

Steve Walker passed for 191 yards and two touchdowns for the Bison (7-0), who extended the nation's longest winning streak in Division I - Bowl Subdivision and Championship Subdivision - to 11 games.

North Dakota State nearly defeated Minnesota last season, but the Golden Gophers held on for a 10-9 victory as Shawn Bibeau's field goal attempt was blocked as time expired.

Minnesota, which dropped to 1-7, reached a new low under first-year coach Tim Brewster, surrendering 585 total yards.

PENN STATE 36, INDIANA 31 --------------------------

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (Ticker) -- Penn State remained perfect against Indiana.

Anthony Morelli completed 22-of-32 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns as the Nittany Lions improved to 11-0 all-time against the Hoosiers with a 36-31 victory.

Penn State (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) forced four second-half turnovers, preventing Indiana (5-3, 2-3) from becoming bowl eligible for the first time since 1993 - the longest drought in the Big Ten.

Kellen Lewis passed for 318 yards and three touchdowns for the Hoosiers but fumbled three times. James Hardy caught 14 passes for 142 yards and two scores for Indiana.

PURDUE 31, IOWA 6 -----------------

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Curtis Painter tossed three touchdown passes as Purdue snapped a two-game slide with a 31-6 victory over Iowa.

Painter completed 28-of-47 passes for 315 yards for the Boilermakers (6-2, 2-2 Big Ten), who became bowl eligible following lopsided losses to Ohio State and Michigan.

Dorien Bryant caught nine passes for a career-high 167 yards for Purdue, including two touchdowns.

Iowa (3-5, 1-4) was unable to build on last week's upset of Illinois, losing for the fifth time in six games.

WISCONSIN 44, NORTHERN ILLINOIS 3 ----------------------------------

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- Running back P.J. Hill reached the 1,000-yard mark for for the second straight season as Wisconsin snapped a two-game losing streak with a 44-3 drubbing of Northern Illinois.

Hill ran for 184 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries as the Badgers (6-2) rebounded from consecutive road losses to Illinois and Penn State.

It was Hill's best performance since rushing for a career-high 249 yards last season against Northwestern.

Tyler Donovan completed 12-of-20 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown for Wisconsin.
