San Jose State DC Greg Robinson to retire
Dec 19, 2015 - 4:59 AM San Jose State defensive coordinator Greg Robinson is retiring after the Spartans play their bowl game Saturday.The school announced Robinson's decision on Friday to end his long coaching career after the AutoNation Cure Bowl against Georgia State in Orlando, Florida.
Robinson began his coaching career in 1975 as an assistant at Pacific. He was the coordinator on Denver's Super Bowl winning teams in the 1997 and `98 seasons and an assistant on four Rose Bowl winning teams with UCLA and Texas.
He spent the past two seasons on coach Ron Caragher's staff at San Jose State.
