Syracuse's Dino Babers adds 6 coaches to staff
Jan 4, 2016 - 10:10 PM SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) Dino Babers has added six assistant coaches to his new staff at Syracuse.All six worked for Babers at Bowling Green before he was hired by Syracuse in December and have a combined 22 years of experience working with him: Tom Kaufman will be the Orange's special teams coordinator and linebackers coach; Sean Lewis joins the Orange as co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach; Mike Lynch will share offensive coordinator duties with Lewis and coach the offensive line; Kim McCloud will be the Orange's assistant head coach and also coach the receivers; Nick Monroe, a former assistant at Colgate, will coach the secondary; and Brian Ward will serve as defensive coordinator.
The Falcons won the 2015 Mid-American Conference Championship but lost to Georgia Southern in the GoDaddy Bowl.
