3 Texas Tech football players kicked off the team
May 5, 2016 - 6:07 PM LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) Three Texas Tech football players have been kicked off the team.Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Thursday that sophomore linebacker Dakota Allen, sophomore offensive lineman Robert Castaneda and redshirt freshman offensive lineman Trace Ellison have been removed from the roster.
Kingsbury says the players were dismissed ''due to failure to uphold student-athlete expectations.'' He did not elaborate.
Texas Tech had no further comment on the dismissals.
No one has shouted yet.
