NC State OL Richardson to play, DB Stevens also might return

Sep 11, 2017 - 6:19 PM RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State will have its starting offensive line intact this week — and might have another defensive back in the lineup, too. The depth chart released Monday showed Will Richardson as the starter at left tackle while cornerback Mike Stevens appeared on the two-deep for the first time this season. Stevens is listed as the co-starter with Johnathan Alston for this week's game against FCS Furman. Richardson was suspended for two games for an incident that coach Dave Doeren previously said took place in the spring. Stevens has been out with a lower leg injury. Doeren says he won't have any certainty on Stevens' status until later in the week. He expressed a preference to "let him get his feet wet" but added that "we're not going to rush the process." ___ More AP college football: http://collegefootball.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP_Top25
