Boston College LB Strachan (knee) out for season
Sep 29, 2017 - 3:48 PM Boston College linebacker Connor Strachan has now been ruled out for the season with a knee injury, the school announced Friday.Strachan, who previously was out indefinitely, is eligible for a medical redshirt in 2017 and will be able to return to the Eagles as a fifth-year senior next season.
Strachan collected All-ACC honorable mention honors in 2016 when he led Boston College with 80 tackles. He injured his knee prior to the season opener and played in the team's first two games before the injury forced him to be out for the year.
For his career, Strachan played in 39 career games, including 20 starts.
In addition, Boston College announced sophomore middle linebacker Max Richardson is out indefinitely with a knee injury suffered in last Saturday's 34-7 loss at Clemson.
In four games, Richardson has 23 tackles, including seven in the first half at Clemson prior to his injury.
