Oct 17, 2017 - 6:40 AM OCT 16 SUN BELT OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Penny Hart, Georgia State (So., WR)...Penny Hart caught 11 passes for 190 yards and three touchdowns to lead Georgia State's record-setting offensive effort in a 47-37 win at ULM. The Panthers' earned their third straight win, all on the road, by knocking off the previous Sun Belt leader and the hottest team in the league. With his third straight 100-yard game, Hart set the Georgia State record for receiving yards and tied his own school record for catches. His performance keyed a record-setting day for the offense, which piled up a school-record 670 yards while scoring the Panthers' most points ever against an FBS opponent.

All three of Hart's touchdown catches were highlight reel-worthy. On the Panthers' first possession, he made a spectacular one-handed, overhead catch for a 50-yard scoring play. In the third quarter, he caught touchdowns on consecutive possessions, first a 25-yard TD on which he caught the ball around the 5-yard line and backed his way into the end zone. On the Panthers' next possession, they faced a 1st-and-25 after a penalty, but Hart hauled in a 40-yard pass, then two plays later a 22-yard touchdown catch. Over the last three games, Hart has 30 receptions for 463 yards and five touchdowns.
