CFB Note - Oklahoma Brown, Orlando

Jan 4, 2018 - 6:47 AM Oklahoma offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is giving up his final year of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL draft. The redshirt junior left tackle announced his intentions Wednesday on Twitter. "After talking things over with my family and coaches, I will be declaring early for the NFL Draft," Brown tweeted. "It's been an amazing 4 years here. I wouldn't want to be a part of any other university. Thank you Sooner Nation." Brown, the son of former NFL offensive tackle Orlando "Zeus" Brown, started at Oklahoma at left tackle since his redshirt freshman season in 2015. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound Brown is considered a potential first-round pick in April. He was a unanimous first-team All-America pick and a finalist for the Outland Trophy this year as the blind-side blocker for Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Baker Mayfield. - The Sports Xchange
