WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina (Ticker) - A pair of teams riding four-game winning streaks and coming off shutouts meet Saturday when 14th-ranked Wake Forest hosts No. 19 Virginia Tech in an Atlantic Coast Conference contest.

The Demon Deacons (9-1, 5-1 ACC Atlantic) are coming off a 30-0 triumph at Florida State - the Seminoles' first home shutout in 31 seasons under Bobby Bowden.

Riley Skinner completed 13-of-19 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown for Wake Forest, which limited Florida State to just 139 total yards and intercepted four passes as it improved to 9-1 for the first time in program history.

Wake Forest is tied with No. 23 Maryland atop the Atlantic Division. The teams meet next week in College Park for a spot against Georgia Tech in the ACC title game.

Virginia Tech (8-2, 4-2 Coastal) dropped back-to-back games to Georgia Tech and Boston College on September 30 and October 12 but have not lost since.

Last Saturday, the Hokies blanked Kent State at home, 23-0, despite mustering just 73 rushing yards. Virginia Tech recovered two fumbles - returning one for a score - and picked off a pass as it limited the Golden Flashes to just 182 yards.

The Hokies lead the series, 21-11-1. In the last meeting two years ago, Virginia Tech posted a 17-10 win here.
