Buffaloes head to Arizona as 17.5-point underdogs
Sep 29, 2022 - 6:25 PMThe Colorado Buffaloes have had a hell of a start to the 2022 season. As you well know, we don’t mean that in a good way. Now they head to Tucson to take on a Wildcat team that is a great example of high quickly things can turn around with the right coach and staff.
Last season the Buffaloes had their smoothest win of the year over Arizona in Boulder, winning 34-0 in front of the home crowd. Just one season later, the Buffaloes have started 0-4 while setting margin of victory records for their ineptitude and the Wildcats have turned into a fun team to watch with an offense that can put up points in bunches.
Currently, the Buffaloes are 17.5-point underdogs to the Wildcats. The Buffs have failed to cover the spread five games in a row, dating back to the Utah finale last season. But bettors seem to think this is a game that Colorado can keep closer. According to The Action Network, 71% of the bets 89% of the money is the Buffaloes at that 17.5 margin. In fact, 17 can be found at a few places.
The Buffaloes will take on Arizona at 7:30 MT on Saturday.
