Troy starting QB Gunnar Watson missed Saturday’s 27-10 win over Southern Miss with an undisclosed injury. Watson suffered the injury the previous week against Western Kentucky.

Former Bowling Green and West Virginia QB Jarret Doege helped spur the Trojans to a comeback win over WKU off the bench after replacing Watson, and he bagged the win on Saturday against USM.

Troy is one of the few teams in the country where you don’t downgrade them whatsoever between QB1 and QB2. In fact, I believe Doege should be the starter. (Doege didn’t have much of a chance to win the gig out of camp after transferring over very late in the summer after failing to win WKU’s starting job).

A moneyline bet involves choosing which team you believe will win a specific matchup. The moneyline favorite carries a minus designation, like -130. This means that you need to wager $130 to earn a $100 profit. Conversely, the underdog carries a plus designation, like +110. This means that you win $110 in profit on a $100 bet.
