College Football Week 10 Odds, Picks & Prediction: California vs. USC

With no game on the island this week, Cal and USC will close out week 10 with a late-night game at the Coliseum in Los Angeles. For the #9 ranked Trojans, the Pac-12 is still very much in play as they got back on track last weekend at Arizona, winning 45-37 in a game that was more mismatched than the final score suggests. Even still, their 42-43 loss a week earlier may come back to haunt them, as they had no answer for a Utah offense that has otherwise been mediocre to start the season.

As for the Bears, it has been the rebuilding season they had expected, winning their first two but going 1-5 in the time since. The last time we saw them on the field was their biggest trouncing of the season, losing 24-42 vs. Oregon last week at home.

In this one, despite the Trojan’s defensive woes, Cal just doesn’t have the fire power to be a real threat.

USC -21.5
