College Football Week 11 Odds, Picks & Predictions: North Carolina vs. Wake Forest

The North Carolina Tar Heels were supposed to be in the midst of a rebuild following the departure of Heisman-candidate QB Sam Howell, but that isn’t where the 15th-ranked team in the country finds themselves. Currently leading the ACC-Coastal with a perfect 5-0 record (8-1 on the season), the Tar Heels have been playing terrific football as of late, especially on offense. Coming into the week, North Carolina ranks inside the top 10 in points scored (40.6), total yards (8), and passing yards (6).

Following a 3,900-yard and 36-touchdown season in 2021-22, Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman has not returned with the same production. Even still, things were looking up going 6-1 through their first six games. Losing back-to-back games to Louisville and NC State, their positioning in the ACC Atlantic has fallen off a cliff.

With a win here all but sealing their spot in the ACC Championship game, I like for a motivated UNC team to keep this one within a field goal at the very minimum.
